The Florida Panthers have named General Raymond Odierno as the team's Chariman and Alternate Govenor. He will be an advisor to ownership on hockey operations and business matters.
Odierno served as the 38th Chief of Staff of the Army. He had commanded troops in Germany, Albania, Kuwait, Iraq and the United States. Odierno retired from military service in 2015.
