The West Palm Beach and Palm Beach County region has slipped down in the United States top 50 radio market population rankings. The area moved down from #47 to #48 this month.
Palm Beach County was once at #49 back in 2005 and moved up to a higher number in 2006. More housing was being built to increase the population in the county. In addition, it was also due to the population leaving New Orleans over a 12-month span following the impact of Hurricane Katrina.
