The Seminole Ridge Hawks visit the Palm Beach Gardens Gators at Mullinax Ford Stadium on Monday night in a District 9-8A game. Both schools look to be the frontrunner of the district with a win.
Seminole Ridge(4-0, 1-0) enters the contest undefeated and have shutout victories over Santaluces, Boynton Beach and Wellington. They have outscored their four opponents 107-19 this season.
Quarterback Kaimyn Castilla calls the signals on offense for the Hawks. Running backs Cameron Wicks and Corey Polk will get their share of carries. Anthony Angel and Jeremiah Brown are the primary wide receivers for Castilla.
Palm Beach Gardens(3-1, 1-0) has averaged 37 points per game in their first four games. They have wins over John I. Leonard, Royal Palm Beach and Jupiter along with a tough loss to local rival Dwyer.
The Gators have Chris Sancilio as their quarterback along with running backs Kevon Purnell and Pedro Epps. Sancilio intends to connect passes to wide receivers Armani Hayes, Deonte Cooley, Jake Hockenson and Ponce Hollowell. Palm Beach Gardens has Gurvan Hall as a safety and special teams returner.
