The Atlantic Eagles host the Lake Worth Trojans at War Eagle Stadium in Delray Beach on Friday night in a District 10-8A game. The Eagles currently lead the district ahead of Park Vista and Boca Raton.
Lake Worth(0-6, 0-4) have given up 219 points and scored only 28 points this season. They have been defeated by Palm Beach Lakes, Spanish River, Santaluces, Park Vista, Glades Central and Boca Raton.
The Trojans have a rushing attack with running backs Joshua Rayhan Williams and Jameson Pierre-Louis along with quarterback Jean Stevens-Mendes. Their group of wide receivers include Marques Spann, Bryan Henry, Javon Austin, Jermey Young, Mikal Grimes and Viguens Sainvilus.
Atlantic(5-1, 4-0) have outscored their last three opponents 117-18. After an season opening loss to Palm Beach Central by one point, they have stringed five consecutive victories over Dwyer, Park Vista, Spanish River, Santaluces and John I. Leonard.
The Eagles have a passing game with quarterback Antoine Williams II and a wide receiver core of Corey Gammage, Cadarius Gaskin, Varrick Lurry-Davis, Javone Jackson, Kamareon Williams and Aydin Henningham. Running backs Shelley Singletary and Corey Cola Jr. will see their share of carries.
