Saints Shut Out Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins played at Wembley Stadium in London, England on Sunday and were blanked by the New Orleans Saints 20-0. Dolphins owner Stephen Ross had requested that this game be moved to Miami due to the impact of Hurricane Irma, however he was denied by the National Football League.
The Dolphins will have their first home game in Miami(1-2) this season next week against the Tennessee Titans. The Fins have been outscored 40-6 in their last two games.
Neither club was able to score during the first quarter. The best chance was by the Fins inside the five-yard line as quarterback Jay Cutler was intercepted in the end zone for a touchback.
The Saints had an opportunity to take the lead in the first minute of the second quarter, but Wil Lutz missed a 41-yard field goal. Lutz converted a 43-yard field goal with no time remaining in the first half for a 3-0 lead.
New Orleans(2-2) struck quickly early in the third quarter at 9:01. Quarterback Drew Brees rolled out to his right and found Michael Thomas in front of him for a three-yard touchdown.
Lutz added a 45-yard field goal to make it 13-0 with 12:32 left in the fourth quarter. Brees threw a backhand shuttle pass to Alvin Kamara and he raced up through the right side for a 12-yard touchdown at the 4:01 mark.
