The St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders will not host the Flanagan Falcons at Brian Piccolo Stadium in Fort Lauderdale this week. The game has been postponed because of the impending storm named Hurricane Irma.
Flanagan(1-1) has given up 106 points in their first two regular season games. They edged McArthur 40-37 in the season opener and were dominated on road last week at Oxbridge Academy 69-0.
The Falcons have quarterback Kamel Cameron to call the signals on offense. Running back Omar Marques is expected to get the load of handoffs while Damooni Morris and Brandon Beckford will also see action. Cameron looks to connect with wide receivers Wayne Ruby, Donavan Hubson, Carlos Hill and George David with passes.
After getting by St. John Bosco 9-3 in overtime during their home opener, St. Thomas Aquinas(2-0) walloped Piper 40-0 last week. STA has a major advantage with seven home games this season.
Curt Casteel holds the post at quarterback and has many weapons as wide receivers with Tavares Kelly, Elijah Moore, Teriq Philips and Cole Caterbone. The backfield consists of running back Daniel Carter and Samuel Llewellyn. The Raiders secondary is stacked with Asante Samuel Jr., Al Blades Jr., Trenell Troutman and Adetutu Daranijo.
