Kings Academy Handles Calvary Christian

The Kings Academy Lions struggled little to defeat the Calvary Christian Eagles 27-3 at Kahlert Stadium in West Palm Beach on Friday night. Both schools are both battling for Class 3A playoff spots in different regions.
Calvary Christian(2-2) advanced the ball down the field late in the first quarter. The Eagles had to settle with a 23-yard field goal by Kyle Stevens with 46.5 seconds left in the first.
After losing the ball on downs in the red zone three minutes into the second quarter, Kings Academy(4-0) roared back to take a 7-3 lead on their next possession. Running back Dillon Larson rushed up the middle from nine yards out for a touchdown at the 6:02 mark.
The Lions scored on their first drive of the second half. Wide receiver Cory Corteau caught a 30-yard touchdown on the right hash marks from quarterback Justin Wake at 10:56 of the third quarter to go up 13-3.
TKA expanded their margin to 17 points in the fourth quarter. Wake ran around the left end and scored from 10 yards away with 7:57 remaining. They added an insurance touchdown as Larson broke through the right side of the line for a five-yard score with 2:01 to go in the fourth.
