Nationals Sweep Marlins Again

     The Washington Nationals swept the Miami Marlins with an 8-1 win at Marilns Park on Wednesday night. It was the second time in two weeks that the Nationals took a three-game set. The Fish have lost nine of their last ten games and are now behind the Nats in the National League East by 18 games.
     Washington(85-54) attacked in the first inning with two runs. Ryan Zimmerman knocked in Trea Turner with a single into left field. Zimmerman then scored on a double by Howie Kendrick to left.
     The Nationals extended their lead to 3-0 in the top of the fourth. Zimmerman smacked a solo home run to right field on a 3-0 pitch.
     In the sixth inning, the Nats compiled two more runs. Anthony Rendon scored on a sacrifice fly to center by Jayson Werth. Jose Lobaton would walk with the bases loaded and Rendon crossed the plate.
     Michael A. Taylor socked a solo home run to left field on the first pitch during the top of the eighth. In the ninth inning, Trea Turner scored on a base hit by Anthony Rendon through the left side of the infield.
     Miami(67-72) got on the scoreboard during their final opportunity in the bottom of the ninth. Miguel Rojas grounded out to first for J.T. Realmuto to score.
