The Miami Marlins will move their upcoming weekend series against the Brewers to Milwaukee due the impact of Hurricane Irma on the South Florida region. Those games will be played at Miller Park on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Miami is to be designated as the home team in all three games. The Fish did play earlier this year in Milwaukee on June 29, June 30 and July 1. It is expected that the club returns to South Florida and host the New York Mets at Marlins Park starting Monday night. The Marlins once were displaced from being in Miami following a hurricane in 2004 and had to play the Montreal Expos in the White Sox home ballpark in Chicago.
