The Braves took the lead in the bottom of the fifth. Ender Inciarte tripled to right-center field and then scored on a sacrifice fly Ozzie Albies. Matt Kemp later smashed a solo home run to left-center field on a 1-0 pitch.
The Marlins were able to tie it up in the seventh inning. Ozuna connected with a single into left-center field and Giancarlo Stanton crossed the plate.
The Fish regained the lead 5-4 in the top of the eighth. Pinch-hitter Ichiro Suzuki drove in Anderson with a base hit into shallow left field.
