2022 FHSAA Lower Football Playoff Brackets

The 2022 FHSAA football postseason brackets are set for the smallest populated areas in the state. These high schools were separated in classifications of Class 4S, Class 3S, Class 2S, Class 1S and Class 1R. Some high schools from the South Florida region will participate.
DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale will be the home of the Class 4S and Class 3S state championship games from December 15 to December 17. Gene Cox Stadium in Tallahassee will host the state title games in Class 1R, Class 1S and Class 2S from December 8 to December 10.
Class 1R will just have one local high school involved. #2 Pahokee was placed as the second seed in Region 4 and will have a bye in the first round. The Blue Devils will face either #3 Chiefland or #6 Newberry the following week in a regional semifinal.
There will be just one local school in Class 1S from Fort Pierce. #1 John Carroll Catholic is the top seed in Region 3 and will host #4 Cardinal Mooney in a regional semifinal on November 18. There are no local high schools in the Class 2S playoff bracket.
Class 3S will have two of the local Treasure Coast regional high schools as they face each other in Region 3. #7 Port St. Lucie heads for #2 Jensen Beach in the opening round.
There will be several matchups in the first round of Class 4S. #1 Vero Beach has the top seed in Region 3 and will host #8 Harmony in a regional quarterfinal contest. The victor will take on the winner between #5 Centennial at #4 Melbourne. The other local tilt has #6 Treasure Coast visiting #3 Martin County.
