Celtics Hold Off Heat

     The Boston Celtics downed the Miami Heat 134-121 on Wednesday night at TD Garden. Both clubs will face each other again at the same venue on Friday night. 
     Boston(18-4) blasted out to a 14-2 lead just over two minutes into the contest. The Celtics were up 38-35 after one quarter and led 68-60 at halftime. Miami(10-12) could not get in front and were behind 102-96 at the end of three quarters. The Heat trailed by three points early in the fourth, but the C's pulled away. 
     Bam Adebayo and Max Strus both shared the team-high with 23 points each for the Heat. Tyler Herro fell short of a double-double with 22 points and nine rebounds. Jayson Tatum powered through a double-double for the Celtics with a game-high 49 points along with 11 rebounds. Jaylen Brown was able to contribute 26 points in the victory.
