Miami Marlins Lost On Waivers

The offseason began for Major League Baseball following the end of the 2022 World Series on Saturday. The Miami Marlins placed several players on waivers and some of them were picked up.
Outfielder Luke Williams was taken by the Los Angeles Dodgers. He was acquired by the Marlins in a trade with the San Francisco Giants during the season back on May 27. Williams had a .235 batting average with one home run, three runs batted and 11 stolen bases in 71 games with the Fish.
The Marlins also parted ways with pitcher Cole Sulser. He was dealt by the Baltimore Orioles to Miami in a five-player trade on April 3. Sulser went 1-4 with a 5.29 earned run average in 39 relief appearances.
