Miami Marlins Make Moves

The Miami Marlins have made several moves in the past couple of days. The team first named former player Jeff Conine as a special assistant. It will be his second stint in team operations.
The Marlins then traded away pitcher Elieser Hernandez and Jeff Brigham to the New York Mets for pitcher Franklin Sanchez. Miami also non-tendered contracts to outfielder Brian Anderson along with pitcher Nick Neidert and they now become free agents.
