Miami(5-5, 3-3) put up the first 14 points in the first half. Georgia Tech(4-6, 3-4) reached the end zone with less than a minute left in the second quarter and trailed 14-7 at halftime. The Hurricanes scored 21 unanswered points during the second half to make it 35-7 before surrendering a touchdown in the final minute of the contest.
