Calvary Christian Academy(9-3) scored first and had a 14-10 lead at the end of the first quarter. Cardinal Gibbons(11-1) finally moved ahead during the second half with 16 points and led 26-14 at halftime. Both teams traded touchdowns in the third quarter and the Chiefs added another 10 points in the fourth.

Cardinal Gibbons Survives Calvary Christian Academy
The Cardinal Gibbons Chiefs held off the Calvary Christian Eagles 43-27 at Dr. Bud Tight Field in Fort Lauderdale on Friday night in a FHSAA Class 2M regional semifinal clash. The Chiefs will challenge either the American Heritage Patriots or the Boynton Beach Tigers in the next round.
