Boynton Beach Edges The King's Academy

The Boynton Beach Tigers hosted their first playoff game in school history as they slipped by The King's Academy Lions 29-26 in a FHSAA Class 2M regional semifinal on Monday night. The Tigers will visit Plantation and challenge the top-seeded American Heritage Patriots in the second round.
The King's Academy(8-3) rolled out to a 20-7 halftime lead. The second half belonged to Boynton Beach(9-2) and they got a last-second field goal in the fourth quarter to win the game.
The Tigers won their first postseason contest in school history. Former Boynton Beach and current Balitmore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson led them to the FHSAA Playoffs twice, but they fell on the road both times to the Miami Central Rockets.
