Marlins Drop J.P. Arencibia

     The Miami Marlins has not renewed the contract of broadcaster J.P. Arencibia. He was a television game analyst and sometimes studio analyst for more than one-third of their games on Bally Sports Florida during the 2022 regular season. Arencibia, a Westminster Christian High School grad, also did several contests as a radio game analyst. 

     He became the second person from their on-air broadcasting staff that will not return in 2023. Lead radio play-by-play announcer Glenn Geffner was not brought back last week for next season. Arencibia played six seasons in Major League Baseball, however none of them were with the Miami Marlins.
