Cleveland(10-6) broke out to a 28-27 lead after one quarter. The Cavs went on a 21-2 run at the start of the second quarter and were way ahead 59-42 by halftime. Miami(7-10) fell more behind at the end of the third quarter 95-64.
Bam Adebayo scored a team-high 22 points and six rebounds while Caleb Martin added 17 points for the Heat. The Cavaliers were led by Darius Garland with a game-high 25 points and seven assists.
