Jimmy Cefalo Ending WIOD Morning Show

     Jimmy Cefalo will be leaving his position as morning show host at News Radio 610 WIOD-AM near the end of the year. He has been at that job since 2008. Cefalo will continue to be an on-air commentator on WIOD as of next year. Andrew Colton will replace him as the morning host on January 9. 

     Cefalo will continue to be the play-by-play announcer on the Miami Dolphins Radio Network. He tenure as the Dolphins radio voice began in 2005 as he replaced Howard David. 

     He had a long reign as the lead sports anchor and sports director at WPLG-TV Channel 10 in Miami from 1993 until 2007. Cefalo was the first morning co-host of the The First Team with Dave LaMont on Sports Radio 560 WQAM-AM from 1993 to 1994.
