Chaminade-Madonna Trounces Treasure Coast

The Chaminade-Madonna Lions finally got to play the Treasure Coast Titans and won 45-6 at Vince Zappone Field in Hollywood on Thursday night. It was the first time ever that both high schools have faced each other on a football gridiron.
Their contest was delayed a couple of months ago. It was to happen on September 30, however the impact of Hurricane Ian on St. Lucie County postponed the game.
Chaminade-Madonna(9-0) finished with an undefeated record during the regular season. They have outscored their 2022 opponents 457-110 this year. The Lions will remain home to begin the FHSAA Class 1M Playoffs.
Treasure Coast(3-6) only three victories this year has been against district opponents. The Titans lost for the second straight time following their Class 4S District 12 title game loss to the Vero Beach Indians last week. It will be tough for them to qualify for the FHSAA Playoffs this season.
