West Boca Raton Beats Olympic Heights

The West Boca Raton Bobcats went east four miles on Glades Road and defeated crosstown foes the Olympic Heights Lions 42-14 at Corey Lewis Stadium on Thursday night. The Bulls have won 11 of the 15 meetings between both neighborhood high schools since 2005.
West Boca Raton(6-4) has interchanged wins and losses on their schedule since Week 2. They bounced back from their defeat to the Blanche Ely Tigers last week. The Bulls outscored their opponents overall by just one point this year. It is uncertain if they will make the FHSAA postseason in Class 3M.
Olympic Heights(1-9) had won their season opener with a season-high 14 points against the Suncoast Chargers and then lost nine consecutive games. The Lions scored just 51 points and surrendered 312 points in 2022.
