Cardinal Gibbons(11-2) raced out to a 10-0 lead at the end of the first quarter. American Heritage(12-1) responded with two touchdowns during the second quarter and led 14-10 at halftime. The Chiefs trailed 17-13 after three quarters. The Patriots reached the end zone twice in the fourth quarter and expanded their lead to 31-13.

American Heritage Outscores Cardinal Gibbons
The American Heritage Patriots outpaced the Cardinal Gibbons Chiefs 31-20 at Heritage Field in Plantation in a FHSAA Class 2M regional final on Friday night. The Patriots have defeated the Chiefs in 16 of their last 18 meetings. The Pats will face the Bolles Bulldogs in a state semifinal next week.
