Raptors Chase Down Heat

     The Miami Heat began a four-game road trip and lost to the Toronto Raptors 112-104 at Scotiabank Arena on Wednesday night. The Heat had their three-game winning streak snapped. 
     Miami(7-8) had a 31-27 lead at the end of the first quarter and were able to stay ahead 60-54 at halftime. Toronto(9-7) scored 21 consecutive points to make it 80-72 and they led 84-79 after three quarters. The Raptors expanded it to a 10-point margin 96-86 with 7:28 left in the fourth. 
     Max Strus led Miami in scoring with 20 points while Kyle Lowry had 19 points against his former team. Caleb Martin fell short of a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds. Gabe Vincent was able to contribute 16 points. 
     O.G. Anunoby had game-highs of 32 points and 10 rebounds for Toronto. Fred VanVleet compiled 23 points and eight assists while Scottie Barnes dropped in 19 points.
