Manny Munoz Gets WIOD Show

     Manny Munoz has been named the new late morning co-host and late morning producer on News Radio 610 WIOD-AM and replaces Brian Mudd. He will begin his new program on January 9. 

     Munoz was a news editor at WIOD-AM from 1995 until 1999. He became the program director at 1700 The Fan WAFN-AM in August 1999 and remained there until their format change at the end of December 2000. 

     He returned to WIOD as a news editor from 2003 to 2008. Munoz added numerous roles in the next 14 years at that radio station. They included News Extra talk host, morning show executive producer, assistant news director, morning show on-air sidekick and morning sports anchor. Munoz also announced sports updates as a sports anchor on Fox Sports Radio 940 WINZ-AM. 

     Mudd has worked as a late morning host on WIOD since early 2018. He will continue as the morning show co-host and program director at 1290 WJNO-AM in West Palm Beach. Mudd will also remain as the program director at Sports Radio 1230 The Gambler WBZT-AM in the same market.
