Heat Escape Clippers

       The Miami Heat got past the Los Angeles Clippers 120-119 on Monday night at Intuit Dome on Monday night. Norman Powell played against his former team. It was just the second time that the Heat participated in a game at the Clippers new venue.
       Miami(4-3) had a 12-2 start and led 32-30 after the opening quarter. Los Angeles(3-3) would score 13 consecutive points during the second quarter and were ahead 71-66 at halftime.
        The Heat were up 103-95 at the end of the third quarter. The Clippers went on 10-2 run to begin the fourth quarter and tied it up 105-105 with 9:55 remaining. Miami held their opponent off in the final two minutes of play.
        Bam Adebayo led the Heat as he compiled a double-double of 25 points and 10 rebounds. James Harden finished with a game-high 29 points along with nine assists for the Clippers.
