Former Miami Marlins infielder Miguel Rojas won his second straight World Series title last night. The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 5-4 in 11 innings in Game 7 of the 2025 World Series.
Rojas hit a game‐tying solo home run with one out in the top of the ninth to tie it up 4-4. He also prevented the Blue Jays winning the contest in the bottom of the ninth when he threw out a runner at home with the bases loaded.
He was with the Marlins for eight seasons from 2015 to 2022. Rojas participated in 870 games with Miami and had a .265 batting average. He was traded back to the Dodgers in January 2023.
