Pistons Plunge Heat

     The Miami Heat had their six-game winning streak snapped as they lost to the Detroit Pistons 138-135 at Kaseya Center on Saturday night. Both teams were among the top three teams in the Eastern Conference standings. Former Heat player Duncan Robinson was honored with a video montage in the first quarter. 
      Detroit(16-4) powered out to a 36-23 after the end of one quarter. The Pistons continued to lead 71-59 by halftime. 
      Miami(13-7) could not change the momentum and they trailed 108-91 at the conclusion of the third quarter. The Heat tried to make a comeback attempt during the final quarter, however they fell short. 
      Andrew Wiggins dropped in a game-high 31 points for the Heat. Bam Adebayo added a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds. Norman Powell drained in 28 points and Tyler Herro scored 24 points. 
      Cade Cunningham compiled 29 points and eight assists for the Pistons. Tobias Harris was able to contribute 26 points while Robinson had 18 points.
