The University of Miami Hurricanes were victorious over the North Carolina State University Wolfpack 41-7 at Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday.
Miami(8-2, 4-2) got out to a 3-0 lead with a 31-yard field goal by Carter Davis at 7:16 of the opening quarter.
North Carolina State(5-5, 2-4) quarterback C.J. Bailey would throw an interception to the right side. Jakobe Thomas returned it 55 yards for a score to make it 10-0 with 3:36 left in the first.
In the second quarter, the Hurricanes made it 17-0 at the 11:16 mark. CharMar Brown rushed the ball in from one yard away.
The Canes made it 24-0 with 33 seconds to go in the first half. Carson Beck fired a 14-yard touchdown pass to Malachi Toney on the right side.
It became 31-0 for Miami at 9:55 of the third quarter. Elija Lofton caught a 29-yard touchdown toss from Beck. Davis booted a 38-yard field goal to with 3:51 left in the third.
