Dolphins Sneak By Commanders

The Miami Dolphins outdueled the Washington Commanders 16-13 in overtime at Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid, Spain on Sunday. The Dolphins played a rare NFL game in Europe.
The Fins have won two straight games while the Commanders have lost six consecutive contests. Both teams kicked two field goals each in the first half for a 6-6 tie at halftime.
Washington(3-8) moved in front 13-6 at the 11:24 mark of the third quarter. Marcus Mariota tossed a 20-yard touchdown pass to Deebo Samuel Sr. on the right side.
In the fourth quarter, Miami(4-7) answered back at 12:36 to tie it up 13-13. Ollie Gordon II busted up the middle from one yard out.
The contest would go into overtime. The Commanders turned the ball over during their first offensive play on an interception. The Dolphins won the game on a Riley Patterson 29-yard field goal with 7:33 remaining.
