Inter Miami CF Advances In Game 3

      Inter Miami CF stomped Nashville SC 4-0  in Game 3 of the 2025 MLS Cup first round at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday night. The Herons won the best-of-three series 2-1. Inter Miami CF will visit FC Cincinnati in the Eastern Conference Semifinals two weeks from now. 
     The Herons advanced to the next round. They were upset in the first round last year after they captured the MLS Supporters' Sheild.  
      It just took just 10 minutes into the first half for Inter Miami CF to lead 1-0. Lionel Messi fired a left-footed shot from 19 yards away. 
      He added another goal from 20 yards out with his left foot in the 39th minute for a 2-0 advantage. It was his 15th career goal against Nashville SC.  
      The Herons kept their momentum during the second half. The Herons extended their lead to 3-0 as Tadeo Allende scored in the 73rd minute as he tapped in a seven-yard shot off a feed from Jordi Alba.
       It became 4-0 for Inter Miami CF during the 76th minute. Messi sent a lead pass from the midfield line. Allende went in alone on a breakaway and lobbed a right-footed shot from 18 yards.
