The Denver Nuggets downed the Miami Heat 122-112 on Wednesday night at Ball Arena. The Heat completed a four-game road swing.
Denver(5-2) battled out to a 36-33 advantage at the end of the first quarter. The Nuggets held a 68-60 halftime lead.
Miami(4-4) fell behind more and trailed 101-86 at the conclusion of the third quarter. They cut the margin slightly during the fourth quarter.
Nikola Jovic finished with a triple-double of 33 points, 16 assists and 15 rebounds for the Nuggets. Norman Powell scored a team-high 23 points for the Heat. Kel'el Ware compiled 13 rebounds in a losing effort.
