The Miami Marlins has promoted Gabe Kapler to general manager. He has held the role of assistant general manager since January 2024. Kapler continues to work under president of baseball operations Peter Bendix.
Kapler was once the manager of the Philadelphia Phillies from 2018 to 2019 and the San Francisco Giants from. 2020 to 2023. He guided the Giants to the National League West Division title with the best regular season record in 2021 and was named the National League Manager of the Year.
