The Florida Panthers shut out the New Jersey Devils 1-0 at Amerant Bank Arena on Thursday night. The Panthers played in their fourth contest of a five-game homestand. Florida forward Jack Devine made his NHL debut against New Jersey(13-6-1)
Florida(11-8-1) jumped out to a 1-0 lead with 7:02 remaining in the first period. Gustav Forsling send a lead pass from the neutral zone. Sam Reinhart skated to the low left circle and scored his 11th goal if the season on a wrist shot. There was no scoring by either team in the second period and third period.
