The #1 St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders slammed the #8 Heritage Panthers 58-7 at Simmons Family Field in Fort Lauderdale on Friday night in the FHSAA Class 5A regional quarterfinals. The Raiders will attempt to capture their state-record seventh straight state title and 17th overall state championship this year.
St. Thomas Aquinas(10-1) rolled out to a 35-0 lead in the first half. Heritage(4-7) scored a touchdown to get on the scoreboard, however they trailed 42-7 at halftime. The Raiders piled on 16 more points in the second half.
