There were 17 South Florida high school tri-county teams that played in the regional finals of the 2025 FHSAA Playoffs. Nine teams advanced to the state semifinals.
Dade County shifted from seven high schools to two. Miami Northwestern and Miami Palmetto were victorious. Miami Central, Southridge, Goleman, Immaculata-La Salle and True North Academy were defeated.
Broward County dropped from seven teams to five. St. Thomas Aquinas, Cardinal Gibbons, Chaminade-Madonna, American Heritage and West Broward prevailed. Archbishop McCarthy and McArthur fell.
Palm Beach County went from three squads to two. West Boca Raton and Cardinal Newman won while Pahokee lost. Vero Beach from Indian River County moved on to the next round.
