The Miami Heat smashed the Chicago Bulls 143-107 at United Center on Friday night in an NBA Cup contest. The Heat began a short two-game road swing.
Miami(10-6) had a 36-32 advantage at the end of the first quarter. The Heat expanded their lead to 70-52 at halftime.
Chicago(8-7) fell more behind by the conclusion of the third quarter 102-75. Both clubs mainly used reserve players in the final quarter.
Kel'el Ware led the Heat with a double-double of 20 points and 14 rebounds. Norman Powell scored 19 points and Bam Adebayo added 18 points. Ayo Dosunmu had a game-high 23 points for the Bulls.
