Heat Outduel Trail Blazers

      The Miami Heat outscored the Portland Trail Blazers 136-131 on Saturday night at Kaseya Center. The Heat were playing home games on back-to-back nights.
      Portland(5-4) moves out to a 30-27 lead at the end of the first quarter. Miami(6-4) responded and had a 72-65 lead at halftime. 
      The Heat had a slight 100-97 advantage at the conclusion of the third quarter. The Heat were able to hold off the Trail Blazers in the final minutes of the fourth quarter. 
      Nikola Jovic helped Miami with team highs of 20 points and seven assists. Jaime Jaquez Jr. contributed 12 rebounds. Deni Avdija compiled a double-double for Portland with a game-high 33 points along with 11 rebounds.
