The Miami Heat toppled the New York Knicks 115-113 on Monday night at Kaseya Center. Both teams faced each other in their last game three days ago at Madison Square Garden where the Knicks won.
Miami(8-6) was able to get out in front 25-20 by the end of the first quarter. The Heat kept the lead at halftime 55-51.
New York(8-5) cut the lead down to 83-82 at the conclusion of the third quarter. The Knicks had an 11-4 run in the final three minutes of the contest, however they fell short.
The Heat were led by Kel'el Ware with a double-double of 16 points, 14 rebounds and three blocked shots. Norman Powell was able to contribute a club-high 19 points. Miles McBride had a game-high 25 points for the Knicks while Karl-Anthony Towns added 22 points and 15 rebounds.
