Ducks Break From Panthers

     The Florida Panthers fell to the Anaheim Ducks 3-2 on Sunday night at Honda Center. It was the final game of a three-game road trip for Florida. The Panthers finished a stretch in which they played six of their last seven games on the road.
     It did not take long for Anaheim(9-7-3) to score as they moved ahead 1-0 just 63 seconds into the contest. Josh Manson was able to put in an unassisted goal.
     In the second period, the Ducks expanded their lead to 2-0 at 5:22 on the power play. Rickard Rakell scored his seventh goal of the year on assists from Chris Wagner and Corey Perry.
     Florida(7-11-2) finally got on the scoreboard on a power-play goal with 4:35 left in the period. Vincent Trocheck compiled his ninth goal of the season. Keith Yandle and Aleksander Barkov were credited with assists on the play.
     Anaheim regained a two-goal margin at 1:30 of the third period. They scored their second power-play game as Brandon Montour put in a tally.
     The Panthers made a last run for the lead. Keith Yandle scored his third goal of the season on assists from Barkov and Trocheck with 2:59 remaining.
