The Miami Heat handled the Phoenix Suns 126-115 on Wednesday night at Talking Stick Resort Arena. It was the third road game in the last four days for the Heat.
Miami(5-6) got out to a double-digit lead early and led 36-27 after one quarter. The Heat continued their momentum and were up 69-54 at halftime. Phoenix(4-8) tried to keep up and outscored Miami 32-25 in the third, but still trailed 94-86.
Goran Dragic scored his season-high 29 points along with nine rebounds against his former team. Hassan Whiteside compiled a double-double for the Heat with 23 points and 10 rebounds while Kelly Olynyk fell short of one with 10 points and nine rebounds. Dion Waiters added 16 points and James Johnson poured in 15. Devin Booker put in a team-high 30 points for the Suns.
